Santa Claus Parade - Newmarket

Santa Claus Parade - Barrie

The Barrie Santa Claus Parade in its 75th year will be hosted by the Barrie Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, November 16th 2024. Since its inception in 1949, this cherished event has established itself as a part of Barries holiday traditions, uniting the community.

Parade Route: Starting at 5pm, traveling north bound on Lakeshore Drive, from Tiffin Street, up through Toronto Street, and eastbound on Dunlop Street to the end at Poyntz Street.

Parade Route:  The parade will commence on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, heading northbound on Victoria to Valley Way. The route will then veer from Valley Way onto Queen Street, ending at Centennial Square in front of City Hall.

Santa Claus Parade of Lights - Oshawa

You definitely know Christmas is coming when the annual Oshawa Santa Claus Parade of Lights arrives.

And it is that time of year again.

This Saturday, Nov. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the evening event will take place with a steady stream of brightly lit floats making their way through the downtown.

It won’t be difficult to find the parade in 2024.

Parade Route: The parade route runs straight along Bond Street this year beginning just east of Mary Street at Carriage Works Drive. It runs along Bond Street all the way up to Gibbons Street west of Park Road. There will be no access to Bond Street from or to streets that access Bond along the parade route during the time it runs.

We are excited to share that we will be back on the streets of Toronto in 2024! Join us on Sunday, November 24th for the return of amazing floats, bands, marchers, the Celebrity Clowns and of course, Mrs. Claus and Santa! We can’t wait to celebrate the return of The Original Santa Claus Parade with all of you!

Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

Every year we bring hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Toronto, and millions more watching at home, together to celebrate this joyous season. We’ve been doing so uninterrupted for 120 years, and that’s exactly what we will be doing again this year, bringing Santa’s magic to town.
